From: Wonko <dplepage@xxxxxxxxxxxx> > Proposal 1189/1: Society fixes (Orc In a Spacesuit) Part 1: No. Part 2: Yes. What's wrong with the Mookie Charter?
It doesn't allow the Society to do anything, and if you really want to get technical about it, doesn't do anything at all because statements made in Charters no longer have the force of rule.
> Proposal 1191/0: You wanna lurk? Here ya go. (Orc In a Spacesuit) No. I don't see why we should have these extraneous players hanging around who will probably never come back.
I kinda agree. But Glotmorf puts high value on keeping Iain, and keeps doing all sorts of esoteric things to keep him. Plus, appearently Rob is still paying attention, cause e promptly came Off Leave.
> Proposal 1192/0: Giving Societies Their Dues (Glotmorf) Yes. If my proposal fails, having this will be a Good Thing.
Hmm. I think I'll go make 20 PGGP gnomes, and drink each one, giving my BAC and Hangover of the Ages to M-Tek each time.
> Proposal 1193/0: You know you want to (Wonko) Yes. The ruleset is long enough without extraneous objects that are never used.
I think it aught to be used better.
> Proposal 1194/2: Yeah, I F---ed Up (The Administrator) Abstain. Higher-numbers are more realistic; with some work I think the high-precedence would work.
Do the some work first. I've mulled over several ideas, mostly related to making one set of the rules be designated at core funtion, that overrule all non-core rules. I've thought about multiple types of rules, too. I just have too much on my plate to do it, and make sure it's done right.
> Proposal 1198/1: More Raw Materials (Orc In a Spacesuit) Shelve. You make references to 'properties' as if they were defined elsewhere; they're not.
I just say Oil, Wood, etc. are 'properties'. Since properties are not referenced anywhere else, it doesn't really mean anything. All references to Oil, Wood, etc. use the designation 'Resources'.
> Proposal 1199/0: Automation (Orc In a Spacesuit) Shelve. You want the word 'auto' in front of most of the occurences of 'action' in this; otherwise, the game goes to hell as soon as this takes effect.
I agree, shelve, but for another reason. I picked out where I put 'auto'; once I say 'auto action', when I refer to it, 'the action' works. Other times, I do mean any action. But the reason for the shelve is that I messed up sentence 4. I should read "Actions do not take place at the same time ...".
> Proposal 1204/0: Sanity is bad. (bd) Yes. The Force is a powerful ally.
Therefore making the game still more unbalanced in favor of the Minister of the Force. Which just happens to be you...
