This is a random list of stuff I noticed that I'd *love* to see changed before the ballot, assuming anyone gives a damn about my opinion these days... In p888: Why make Immutable rules start at #2000? Given that the whole R&D and Testing phases takes 15 nweeks, it's certainly possible that we'll reach "real" object 2000 before the whole Immutable thing has run its course, and that'll seriously break the database. (Unless you want to have two things numbered 2000, 2001, 2002, etc. which also breaks the database.) Numbering them in the standard fashion is trivial -- I can add an "immutable" ruletype to the system easily enough. (The fact that I have no idea what the devil these are supposed to do is another issue entirely.) In p909: Bread and Wine? Wow. At first glance, I thought, "wha? we don't have that" then I re-read the rules and found out that we've had both of those objects in there for a while, and I just didn't know. Sometimes, it's kinda impressive just how much stuff we have. (The current ruleset takes about 85 pages to print, using Mozilla's default settings. Obviously, "Less Is More" just isn't working. :) (Aside: If anyone is really really bored during my road-trip downtime, feel free to create a big list of Keywords that need to be added. I've been a bit lax on those the past few nweeks. Make it a proposal, get some easy points. :) The Jedi Lord is asked to update the Jedi Roster -- nobody got their Force Recovery for this nweek. In p917: Section A.4. should probably have a bit higher Chutzpah, just in case. In p919: You might want to put one of those on the Grid in a random location. There's not that much bonus stuff out there anyway -- maybe even add in a "oh, while we're here, create and distribute another half-dozen or so random bonus boxes" clause. There's not nearly enough randomness in our lives. :) In p928: Is the language in my revised veto power clear enough? Basically, I want to be fairly clear on the fact that I don't generally intend to use the veto in a malicious or selfish fashion -- only to try to keep the game, and my brain, from breaking. ...dave ---- David E.
