spoon-discuss: Another Wacky Idea! |
This is not a proposal, mostly because I want a better name than Al. { __Vote Early, Vote Often__ Create a new rule as follows: { __Vote Early, Vote Often There exists a Gremlin known as The Chicago Racketeering Gremlin, also known as Al. Any player may, for a cost of 20 points, payable to the Gremlin Fund, ask Al to Stuff the Ballot Box. That player optionally may specify one active proposal and vote (Yes, No, or Abstain). Each time the Ballot Box is Stuffed, Al will cast one vote as specified by the player paying Al (if the player specified a proposal and vote). Al will also cast five random yes-or-no votes on other proposals on the same ballot, chosen randomly by the Administrator, and will abstain on all other proposals on that ballot. Al may Stuff the Ballot Box multiple times for any given Ballot. Each Player may only purchase Al's services once for each Ballot. If, on any Ballot, Al Stuffs the Ballot Box more than three times, Al goes into Hiding for one nweek, automatically becoming Active at the end of one nweek. Al's services may not be purchased while e is Hiding. Players may ask Al to Stuff the Ballot Box either on a public forum, or by privately contacting the Administrator. In the latter case, the Administrator shall not reveal what proposal and vote was specified, but must reveal the player that purchased Al's services. [[ The reason for the five random votes is to provide cover for the one vote that is specifically purchased. And since someone will be out 20 points anyway, it'll be fairly obvious who paid Al off. ]] } Append the phrase "The Chicago Racketeering Gremlin may vote." to the end of Rule 294. } Is this sufficiently not-ambiguous? Hell, is it even a good idea? ...dave ---- David E.
