Caught in my loop, I rotate my lathe indefinitely, until the phase
characters have rotated through -Pi/2 and Pi radians, from >> to ^<.  <
is a Roman C, so Rome once more controls the sea.  I break out of my
loop at ramming speed.

Free at last, I recite my 4x4 verse:

So saying, I put my mirror shades on backwards, so I can only see
invisible objects.

I rearrange Zarpint's wickets into 32 lines of 2, with each wicket
exactly twice as far from its furthest neighbour than its nearest. 
Zarpint is trapped inside.
