[s-b] Let's get this sorted out... |
" j wrote: > Next step: is there only one mack in existence? Macks have no rule-specified names. Weapons are broken because 5E49 explicitly says-- No, wait, I claim the latest answer to 205 to be INCONSISTENT. 5E49 explicitly says (a) that all Weapons have a name and (b) what the names of *types* of Weapons are, but never assigns names to *instances* of weapons. Thus, by my "the OCB's name is Fred" precedent, instances have names but we don't know what they are. " Thank you. In addition, if the answer overall proves to be NO, this will force retroactive changes to the gamestate, which is not allowed. And not only that, but surely the names of types of Weapons apply to the Blueprints for the Weapons, not the actual Weapons themselves. This should apply to all items, including Trophies (the origin of this argument, I believe, hence this clears that issue up...) so everyone's items (and Macks) are safe! I submit a Proposal: A new rule is created with the Name "My Rapier's called Janice", and the body "Any Player may, at any time, cause any Game Object in their possession to have a Name, which must be a string that is not the name of any other Game Object. If that Object is Transferred to another Player, Colour or Company (as defined by the Contracts rule), the Name is kept. This rule takes precedence over all rules that talk about Transferal of Game Objects. I intend to buy 0x44 off of himself. I'm not sure what this will do... Any ideas? _______________________________________________ spoon-business mailing list spoon-business@xxxxxxxxx http://lists.ellipsis.cx/mailman/listinfo/spoon-business
