[s-b] Proposal: Repeal tomfoolery |
Time for something new. I submit the following proposal titled "Repeal Tomfoolery": {{ Amend Rule 4E45 by replacing it with the following text: {{ A Ministry is a Game Object that can be assigned to at most one Player. It represents the responsibility of that Player to keep other Players aware of the state of a particular aspect of the game, and may also represent the power of the Minister to affect the gamestate in ways specified in the Ministry's definition. If a Ministry's defined powers conflict with any other part of the Rules, the latter takes precedence. A Minister may delegate some or all of its Ministry's defined powers to another Player or to multiple Players. In all cases, any penalties that the Rules impose for failure to fulfill any ministerial obligations are incumbent only upon the Minister itself. A Ministry that is not assigned to a Player is Vacant. The terms "post holder", "pot holster", "post holder designate", and "Minister" refer to the Player in possession of a given Ministry. This can be abbreviated "PHD". }} Amend Rule 4E27 by replacing the following text: {{ No Player, Contract or Corporation may be created with the same name as an existing Player, Contract or Corporation. }} with: {{ No Player may be created with the same name as an existing Player. }} Repeal Rule 4E70. Repeal Rule 4E79. Repeal Rule 4E81. Amend Rule 4E46 by replacing it with the following text: {{ A Player may, as a Game Action, assign a Vacant Ministry to itself, specifying for this Ministry a new Reward Value, which must be less than or equal to its current Reward. }} Amend Rule 4E47 by replacing the following text: {{ A Minister which loses the Active property or ceases to be a Legal Entity immediately vacates any Ministries it holds upon doing so. }} with: {{ A Minister which loses the Active property immediately vacates any Ministries he holds upon doing so. }} Amend Rule 4E48 by replacing the following text: {{ This action may only be taken once per nday per Ministry unless a different Legal Entity has proposed a lower Ministry reward than the current one. As a Game Action a Legal Entity with sufficient mack may Usurp a Ministry that is currently held by a different Legal Entity, proposing for this Ministry a new Reward Value, which must be up to m20 lower than its current Reward. A Legal Entity is defined as having sufficient mack to Usurp a Ministry if it holds at least half that Ministry's (pre-Usurpation) Reward. If, 2 rdays after a Ministry is Usurped, that Ministry's Reward is still higher than the Reward proposed by the Usurping Legal Entity, the following events occur (in order from top to bottom, with each change only if the previous change was successful): * Half of the Ministry's Reward is automatically transferred from the Usurping Legal Entity to the current Minister. * The Ministry becomes assigned to the Usurping Legal Entity. }} with: {{ This action may only be taken once per nday per Ministry unless a different Player has proposed a lower Ministry reward than the current one.
