I submit the following Refresh Proposal: { Amend Rule 4E7 by adding this paragraph at the end: { To "specify" a parameter, a person must unambiguously, explicitly describe it in such a way that it can be reasonably identified by any English speaker. } Amend Rule 4E70 by replacing: { A Legal Entity, as a Game Action, may create a Game Document known as a Contract. } with: { A Legal Entity, as a Game Action, may create a Game Document known as a Contract, specifying its text. } Amend Rule 4E79 by replacing: { These Articles must, at a minimum, give the Corporation a name and define at least one Officer. } with: { These Articles must, at a minimum, give the Corporation a name and define at least one Officer; only Legal Entities bound by them can be defined as Officers. } and by replacing: { An Officer can, *unless otherwise specified in the Articles of Incorporation,* act on behalf of a Corporation by sending a message to the Public Forum explicitly stating that the Actions described in the message are being performed by the Corporation. } with: { An Officer can, unless otherwise specified in the Articles of Incorporation, act on behalf of a Corporation; other entities can also act on behalf of a Corporation if allowed by the Articles of Incorporation. } Amend Rule 4E7 by adding this paragraph at the end: { A Legal Entity (the Actor) can generally, as a Game Action, act on behalf of another Legal Entity (the Target) where the Rules allow it. To do this, the Actor must explicitly state that the action is being performed by the Target. } (No contracts are terminated or amended by this Refresh Proposal; scam contracts can look out for themselves.) } _______________________________________________ spoon-business mailing list spoon-business@xxxxxxxxx http://lists.ellipsis.cx/mailman/listinfo/spoon-business
