Alright, this is just getting silly now. I just went through *14*
threads ( I use Gmail, so I have no clue how many messages that
actually was) SINCE YESTERDAY EVENING!

Here's the crazy part: none of them actually had an impact, as far as
I can tell.

So here's my refresh proposal:

Roll the gamestate back to what it was immediately prior to the first
