Re: [s-b] Consultation |
How about this one? I submit the following Consultation: {{ Is there a paradox with a Player being an Object? }} Reasoning: Rule 1-3 states "An External Force is anything which exists independently of the game. That is, it would still exist if the game stopped existing, and would still exist if the game had never started existing." Is an External Force an Object? If yes, they anything which exists independently of the game must be a part of the game by Rule 1-2. If no, then External Forces cannot be Objects and therefore are not in the game. Rule 1-4 states "A Player is an Outsider who..." Rule 1-3 states "An Outsider is an External Force which is also an Object." A Player is an Outsider and is an External Force. A Player is an Object by being an Outsider and is not an Object by being an External Force. Both cannot be true. This can be resolved if an External Force is an Object, but then everything that exists independently is also in the game. It can be resolved if a Player is not an Object but then there are no Players in the game. - Hose _______________________________________________ spoon-business mailing list spoon-business@xxxxxxxxx http://lists.ellipsis.cx/mailman/listinfo/spoon-business
