[s-b] [auto] Peter submits p341

Peter has submitted a new Motion, p341.

---------------------------------
Motion 341/0: Amend Forging To Exemplify Reasons For Abilities Materializing Everywhere
A Proposal by Peter
Last modified on nweek 104, nday 1

[[Acronym: ALTER FAME]]
[[
This pulls forging into its own rule (separating it from things that are just about talismans in general), and hopefully makes the forging description cleaner.

Nobody's used the way to contribute to someone else's forging, so I'm ripping that out. Also, preventing Forging if one already holds a copy of a Rare Talisman is rather silly, as one could just drop the talisman on the floor, forge one, and pick the talisman back up. The 50A-penalty-with-mutual-annihilation ought to be enough.

Also, I'm having the Forge create the talisman immediately, and then give it out later. This makes more sense to me somehow.

As always, let me know if I'm going to blow up the game or if you have other feedback.
]]

In Rule 7-2, remove the text
{{
No player may Forge a Unique Talisman if a copy of it already exists. No player may Forge a Rare Talisman if e already holds a copy. Absurdly Common Talismans can be forged more quickly, according to the paragraph below.
}}
and
{{
Any player who has at least one of the objects in a given Talisman type's price may attempt to Forge a Talisman of that type, or may contribute the object(s) to another player's attempt to Forge a Talisman of that type. [[Note that Talismans without prices cannot be Forged, and must be created through other means. ]]

Any Contribution to the forging of a Talisman, by any player, will be removed from that players holdings and set aside in a holding account maintained by the Banker.

If, at the end of the 4th, 8th, or 12th nday of an nweek, a player has been attempting to Forge a Talisman for four or more ndays, and for four or more ndays enough objects have been contributed to the forging to fulfill the price, then the Forging resolves: a new Talisman of that type is created in the possession of the player who attempted to Forge it. This destroys the objects spent for the price, except for Souls. Souls spent this way become Bound to that Talisman. Souls Bound to Talismans held by a given player do not count as Souls held by that player.

This happens at the end of each nday for Absurdly Common Talismans.

If, for any reason, the forging of a Talisman fails, all contributions in holding will be returned to the contributor.
}}

Create a new rule in section VII with title "The Forge" and text
{{
The Forge is a unique game object.

For each type T of Talisman, if that talisman has a Price P, and if there are either no copies of that type of Talisman in existence or the rarity of T is not Unique (or both), then the Forge has the ability
{{
P: Create a talisman of type T held by the Forge, marked as being Reserved For the player who played this ability.
}}

The forge also has the abilities
{{
Activated abilities of this object can be played by any player.

If an activated ability of this object has a Soul in its cost and creates a single Talisman as part of its effect, instead of being destroyed the soul becomes held by that Talisman, which is also called being Bound to the Talisman.

At the end of each nday, each Talisman of rarity Absurdly Common that is held by the Forge and is Reserved For a player moves to being held by that player.

At the end of the 4th, 8th, and 12th ndays of each nweek, each Talisman that has been held by the Forge for at least 4 ndays and Reserved For a player moves to being held by that player.
}}

}}
