Guardianships are Game Objects that confer power upon the players holding them. Each Guardianship may be held by up to one player (the Guardian of that Guardianship), but is initially unowned and can only be claimed in a manner explicitly stated by the rules or by a document empowered by the rules. Each Guardianship may have a list of Ministry Prerequisites; if a player holds a Guardianship but doesn't hold any Ministry from that Guardianship's Prerequisites, then e loses that Guardianship immediately.

=== Becoming a Guardian ===
When a player gains a Guardianship, all other players lose that Guardianship. A Player may become a Guardian if a Proposal or Tweak makes em one.

=== Ceasing to be a Guardian ===
Every Guardianship has "0: Cease holding this Guardianship."

Any player may Expel a Guardian; if a majority of all active players Expel a Guardian within a single 2-nday period, then that Guardian immediately ceases to hold that Guardianship. For the purposes of the preceding sentence, an active player is a player who is neither Hiding Under A Rock nor In The Vat.
