[s-b] [auto] BvS submits p50 |
BvS has submitted a new proposal, p50. --------------------------------- Proposal 50/0: Boxes Within Boxes A Standard Proposal by BvS Last modified on nweek 87, nday 6 Create a new section of the Ruleset named "Generic Definitions" with the following rule in it: {{ == Political Parties == There exist organizations called Political Parties, or Parties. A Player of B Nomic may not be a member of more than one Political Party at any given time. Each Party must have a uniquely identifying name. Each Political Party must have a Platform. A Party's Platform is a Game Document laying out the set of beliefs that members of that Party hold [[such as what should be legal in the Game, what the direction of the Game should be, how the Game should be played, etc.]]. The purpose of a Party's existence is the promotion of these beliefs. Each Political Party must have a Chair, who is a member of that Party. The Chair of a Party is the leader of that Party, responsible for representing the Party's interests in debate (when appropriate) and creating a list each nweek of which proposals on the Ballot for that nweek are supported or opposed by eir Party. Parties may also have no stance on a proposal [[and it is suggested that Parties exercise this option rather than simply opposing props they don't support, to prevent partisanship from freezing the Game]]. Each Party's list, known as that Party's Line, must be sent before voting begins each nweek, to all members of that Party at a minimum. [[It is requested but not required that Party Chairs post their Party Line in a public forum.]] A Player who is not a member of any Party may create a new Party by posting its name and Platform in a public forum. That player becomes the new Party's Chair. If at any time there have been fewer than two members of a Party for more than three ndays, the Party is disbanded. A Player may leave their Party at any time by stating their intention to leave in a public forum. No restriction may be placed on a Player's ability to leave their Party. Each Political Party is responsible for establishing its own internal rules regarding the selection of Chairs, modification of its Platform, requirements for joining (if any), conformity to the Party Line, and internal positions other than Chair, as well as any other rules the Party's members wish. A Party's internal rules and workings may not directly influence the Gamestate or any Player who is not a member of that Party, but may directly influence the members of the Party. }} --------------------------------- This Message was sent automatically by the Wiki.
