[Spoon-business] Hats Off to Drunken Theft |
{{ __Hats on, gentlemen__ Create a rule: {{ __Hats__There exist objects called Hats. Each Hat is defined by a Hat definition, which is a type of rule. There exists a Rulebook called the Hat Box. Only Hat definitions may be put in the Hat Box. Rules in the Hat Box are not assigned serial numbers or revision numbers; this rule takes precedence over rule 4 in that respect.
In the event of a conflict between a Hat definition and a non-Hat definition rule, the Hat definition takes precedence. In the event of a conflict between two Hat definitions, the one most recently created takes precedence.
Each Hat definition defines at least one Hat (if no number is specified, it is assumed to define a single Hat). Each Hat is a game object, and may at any time be either Free or in the possession of a player.
Any player who is not Wearing a Hat may start Wearing any Hat e possesses. Any player who is Wearing a Hat may cease to Wear it. No player may wear more than one Hat at a time. If player loses possession of a Hat e is Wearing, e ceases to Wear it.
The player Wearing a given Hat is called its Wearer. }} Create the following Hat Definitions (in the Hat Box, of course): {{ __The Gambler's Hat__The Wearer of the Gambler's Hat may do a Trick Draw instead of Drawing a Card at any time when e could Draw a Card. When a player does a Trick Draw, e must specify a card in the Deck (if e does not, the Trick fails). 1d5 is rolled. On any number other than 1, the player draws that card. On a one, the player loses possession of the Gambler's Hat and discards a card at random from eir hand.
}} {{ __The Plumed Cap__The Wearer of the Plumed Cap may Bask at any time, but not more than once per nweek. When a player Basks, e gains two points of style.
}} {{ __The Cursed Beanie of Excruciating Irritation__The Wearer of the Cursed Beanie of Excruciating Irritation may not take off said Beanie unless a rule forces em to.
}} }} -- Wonko"If I ask you to pay attention to the weight of your body pressing on your buttocks as you set reading, you will momentarily stop reading."
