In the case of what Administrator Recognition actually is, there is rather a lot of game precedent, reaching back, as far as I can recall, to nweek 3 -- at least two real-life years ago. In all that time, recognitions of actions, as assembled in the "Daily/Checkpointly Recognizer," have consisted of the following: - citing the specific action taken by the player - stating the consequences of said actions from a game perspective Since this definition of recognition, based on example, has remained virtually unchanged throughout the game, I submit that it is in fact the official definition. Since, according to the Administrator's argument, voiced by Teucer in this CFI, there is nothing in the ruleset that explicitly states what recognition is, that means there's nothing in the ruleset that conflicts with the game-precedent-based definition. Given that a definition of recognition of an action exists, the next question is whether my disagreement with the vote count constituted a recognition-worthy action. I say it does, based on two things: - Rule 129 states that the objection of a player to a statement by the Administrator is a gamestate-altering event, inasmuch as it prevents a statement by the Administrator as being accepted as immutable. - The Administrator apparently felt the need to recognize the action, since he first confirmed it had occurred, and then stated the consequences of it (his veto of my proposal). Since the rules say my action had game-related consequences, and since the Administrator followed the game-precedent-based formula for recognizing it, my action must have been worthy of recognition. Since my recognition-worthy action happened the day after the vote results were posted, it happened before nday 3. Therefore the clock must have stopped at the first checkpoint until the recognizer, mislabelled "nday 7," was issued. Since the action I took within a nday of the issue of this mislabelled nday 3 recognizer -- removing the comments from Proposal 1841 -- has still not been recognized, according to the list of proposals on the B Nomic website, the clock must have stopped at the nday 7 checkpoint. Therefore, it is still nday 7 of nweek 62 now, and could not possibly have been nday 8 of nweek 62 before.
