[Spoon-business] modest proposal |
It's fortuitous that I remembered I'm sexless, or this paragraph would leave us all unpleasantly moist. As *crackle* I remarked previously, Platonism is too potent a philosophy, and so I propose to reduce Platonists' generous allowance of extra votes and tighten their restriction, as follows: *crackle* _Curb_Platonism_ {{ Change the Platonism mandate to: {{ Platonists believe in perfecting things. A Platonist may vote three times FOR any one proposal which was shelved on a previous ballot, provided that proposal has since been amended. A platonist may not vote AGAINST any proposals on a ballot, but may vote SHELVE, as e would rather things had a chance to become closer to the ideal. }} [[ The mandate is currently: {{ Platonists believe in perfecting things. A Platonist may vote four times FOR any proposal which was shelved on a previous ballot, provided that proposal has since been amended. A platonist may not vote AGAINST more proposals on a ballot than e votes to SHELVE, as e would rather things had a chance to become closer to the ideal. }} ]] }} Although it *crackle* isn't very stylish to grab another pastry I advertised earlier, I claim the chocolate eclair Curt, referenced in Rule 625. (I'm not sure whether reference in a comment counts, but the simplest way to find out is to try it). (I'll leave Rod - I won't be able to smear anything with that with a straight face.) *buzz*Sagitta P.S. Rule 1700 is missing a "]]" at the end. r152 is repealed, but still *buzz* present in the Roster, albeit blank. ___________________________________________________________ Yahoo!
