Re: [Spoon-business] This Foolishness Must End! |
Quoth Orc In A Spacesuit, > All right. The way I see it, if Glotmorf's society could change a rule > (which I don't think it could), then mine can certainly change rules. Well, no, the society rule has been rewritten since then. Any hole that was there is certainly not there anymore. However, since r2 stopped Glotmorf, but my attempt immediately following Glotmorf's was done correctly, I believe that if any takeover has been made, it has been made by me. Thus, assuming Glotmorf's interpretation was correct, I take the following actions, as the rule I created last nweek (entitled __The Game is Mine!__; the relevant msg was sent on 11/11/02 at 10:52): First, I amend __The Game is Mine!__ by replacing the phrase "The player called Wonko" with the phrase, "The player who joined this game under the name of 'Wonko'". Then, I change the name of the player currently named Glotmorf to 'Squeekybobo'. I change my name to Glotmorf. I remove the second paragraph of rule 2. [[I, as Glotmorf, am now legally empowered by both rules]] I repeal the rule entitled __Glotmorf Rules!__. I reinstate the second paragraph of rule 2, set rule 2's revision number to 3, and change my name to Wonko. Then, I change Squeekybobo's name to Glotmorf, and repeal the rule entitled __The Game is Mine!__. The Game should now be back to normal. Notice that, unlike Orc's attempt at fixing the game, the gamestate will be exactly the same regardless of whether or not the things I did were legal, because I've changed the gamestate to match the state it would have had nothing out of the ordinary ever happened. -- Wonko _______________________________________________ spoon-business mailing list spoon-business@xxxxxxxxx http://lists.ellipsis.cx/mailman/listinfo/spoon-business
