[Spoon-business] Ruling on CFI 1106 |
Statement: Members of a Society may vote, regardless of whether or not they are players, in order to cast a "yes" vote on their Society's proposals. Analysis: Rule 497 says individual subsections of rules can have their own Chutzpah. Rule 578 subsection F has a Chutzpah of 2. Rule 578 subsection F says Members of a Society auto-vote "Yes" on the Society's proposals. Rule 15 says game entities other than players may vote if permitted to by a rule with a higher Chutzpah. Therefore, members of a Society can vote, inasmuch as they can cast a "Yes" vote on that Society's proposals. Ruling: TRUE Analysis: This is completely correct as far as it goes. All members of a society can auto-vote "Yes", but this should not be construed to indicate that they can vote in any other way unless permitted otherwise by Rule 15. Different philosophies use different grids. A culture is a group of people with rather similar grids. Through a window we view chaos, and relate it to the points on our grid, and thereby understand it. The ORDER is in the GRID." -The Principia Discordia <><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><> Jeremy Cook The Goddess Athena mcfoufou@xxxxxxxxx _______________________________________________ spoon-business mailing list spoon-business@xxxxxxxxx http://lists.ellipsis.cx/mailman/listinfo/spoon-business
