{{ __Some Force Abilities__ This is an A La Carte proposal. Item 1: Append to rule 815 the following section: {{ Force Vision Force Vision is a Force Ability. It costs 3 Force, and must be targeted at a Grid location. When a player uses Force Vision on a Grid location, the admin must privately notify em of the locations of any bonus boxes within three squares of the target location, but not of the type of box it is. }} Item 2: Append to rule 815 the following section: {{ Force Intuition Force Intuition is a Force Ability. It costs 6 Force, and must be targeted at a Grid location. When a player uses Force Vision on a Grid location if there is a bonus box at that location, the admin shall privately notify em of the first letter of that bonus box's type. [[so you can identify Gnome-in-a-boxes, Inflatable Sirens, Frog Juice, and Black Holes, but you can't distinguish between White Holes and Wormholes or between Shiny Things and Scary Things.]] }} Item 3: Append to rule 815 the following section: {{ Force Pulling Force Pulling is a Force Ability. It costs 6 Force, and must be targeted at a carryable object that is within 3 squares of the Pulling player's location and is not in the possession of another object. When a player Force Pulls an object, that object is moved to the possession of the Pulling Player. }} Item 4: Append to rule 815 the following section: {{ Force Lifting Force Lifting is a Force Ability. It costs 8 Force, and must be targeted at a carryable object that is within 3 squares of the Lifting player's location and is not in the possession of another object, and another square within 3 squares of the Lifting player's location that the target object could legally enter. When a player Force Lifts an object, that object is moved from its location to the targeted square. }} Item 5: Append to rule 815 the following section: {{ Force Absorbing Force Absorbing is a Force Ability. It costs 8 Force, and has no target. A player need not declare publicly that e is Force Absorbing; E may instead notify the administrator privately. If a player who Force Absorbed within the past two ndays, or the Grid location of such a player, is the target of another player's Force abilities, those abilities have no effect, and the Absorbing player gains 2d5 points and 2d2 Force. Two ndays after a player has Force Absorbed, or when a player's Force Absorption successfully stops another player's Force abilities, the admin shall publicly recognize that that player was Force Absorbing. }} Item 6: Append to rule 815 the following section: {{ Force Intercepting Force Intercepting is a Force Ability. It costs 10 Force, and must be targeted at an Airborne throwable object that is headed for a square within three squares of the Intercepting player's location and that was thrown at that square more than one nday ago, or at an Airborne throwable object that is headed from a square within three squares of the Intercepting player's location and that was thrown from that square less than one nday ago. When a player Force Intercepts an object, that object immediately ceases to be Airborne and enters the possession of the Intercepting Player. }} Item 7: Append to rule 815 the following section: {{ Force Destruction Force Destruction is a Force Ability. It costs 14 Force, and must be targeted at up to three Grid square within three squares of the Destroying player's location, all of which must be consecutive to at least 1 of the other targeted squares.. When a player Force Destroys a square, the following occurs: The square's substance becomes Fire. Any Big Rocks on the square are destroyed, along with anything on the Big Rock. Any players on that square lose 2d3 points to the Destroying player. All MO's on that square are moved to random squares that are consecutive to that square and that were not also targeted. }} Item 8: Append to rule 815 the following section: {{ Jedi Mind Trick Using a Jedi Mind Trick is a Force Ability. It costs 20 Force, and must be targeted at a player that is within 2 squares of the Tricking player's location, and an item on the Ballot. When a player uses a Jedi Mind Trick on another player, the Tricking player may set the targeted player's vote on the targeted Ballot item. Once a player's vote has been set this way, that player may not change it. This rule supercedes rule YYYYY in that regard. Jedi Mind Tricks may only be used during Voting. }} }} -- Wonko _______________________________________________ spoon-business mailing list spoon-business@xxxxxxxxx http://lists.ellipsis.cx/mailman/listinfo/spoon-business
