spoon-business: Recinding Proposal |
Hey, guess what. I just noticed Rule 118. Don't I feel stupid! So I recind the proposal that I made below. As it hasn't been recognised yet, I can do this by the new rule created by prop 311. I'm assuming that this is different from just withdrawing it? -- The Kid > -----Original Message----- > From: Harrison, Andrew [mailto:andy.harrison@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] > Sent: 10 October 2000 14:03 > To: 'Nomic Business' > Subject: RE: spoon-business: ballot > > > > From: Joel Uckelman [mailto:uckelman@xxxxxxxxxxx] > > > > > > Voting began at 00:00:00, 10 October 2000, and will last > > until 00:00:00, 13 > > October 2000. > > <snip!> > > Rule 224/0 states: > "Each eligible voter may cast one vote on each Ballot Issue." > > Where exactly does it define 'eligible voter'? > > In Rule 226/0 is says: > "A Player may vote privately..." > So we know that a Player may vote privately, and I suppose we > can assume > from this that a Player may also vote publicly, but this is > not stated. > > However Rule 231/0 says: > "...each Agent who voted..." > So this implies that eligible voters are not necessarily restricted to > Players.
