Joel got scan working. I got show working. mhlib's message class is useless. So, we're pretty much ignoring it. The python docs indicate that the email module is the latest greatest, and all others are obsolete, if not deprecated. My first try at using PYTHONPATH was unsuccessful. I ended up moving new/* into bin/* to get scan and show working. I will now try to put things right and get this module path stuff squared away. I added tests/data/context. With a .mh_profile in ~/, I can run show and scan against tests/data. Joel has code that handles more cases than mhlib.folder.parsesequence(). He and I discussed getting in touch with the maintainer of mhlib, probably via python-dev, to make introductions and go over what we're doing. I nominated Tom for this task, owing to his greater knowledge of python, Joel seconded, and the motion carried without objection.
