| [nimh-dev] things I want |
Things I must have: 1. Maildir support in inc: I won't be able to use what we create without this. On the upside, it should be almost trivially easy to support Maildirs. 2. Preserve MH's storage model (messages are files, etc.) 3. A fooproc mechanism (like in .mh_profile) so that foo can be replaced by a script or have nonstandard default arguments Things I'd like: 1. forw should use the subject of the forwarded mail, if it's only a single message being forwarded 2. Reply to all except self 3. If what we make isn't a drop-in replacement for MH---which would prevent me from using exmh on top of it---then we need to write a GUI. The number-one thing that irritates me about mail client GUIs is that I can't take all of the GUI components and arrange them precisely how I want. If we write a GUI, then I want to be able to arrange the message, folder, and folder list panes in any orientation I please, e.g., stacked vertically, horizontally, two side-by-side and another in th column below, whatever. -- J. _______________________________________________ nimh-dev mailing list nimh-dev@xxxxxxxxxxx http://lists.ellipsis.cx/mailman/listinfo/nimh-dev
