ha: i replied with this and attached a jpg to test it, but that made
the message too big so it was held up for moderation. so, resending.
(thus, apparently it worked)

the \ is an optional continuation character; you have to know the
mime type of the thing you're attaching.

you put this line say at the end of the message you compose. then
when 'what now?' prompts you, say 'mime' n then send it.

been a long time since i've done this but that seems right. you
should test it on yourself first.
