I'm thinking about setting up a spam filter for myself on charybdis, because I now get too much spam to complain about manually. Hence, a few questions for everybody: 1) What would be a good spam filter to use? (I was looking at Spam Assassin.) 2) Would anyone else be interested in using a filter? Spam Assassin can be used as a site-wide thing, or can be used on an individual basis. If used on individual accounts, it can be set to filter spam into a seperate folder (via procmail), to dump spam into a file, or to feed it to /dev/null, among other things. A site-wide setup is more efficient, but I'm not sure if it's individually configurable, nor would I want, e.g., for all the spam to end up in one place to be dealt with manually, since that would end up being my job, and what I want is *less* spam to deal with.
