Don't underestimate the difference that one morale step makes:
Assuming morale 3 and 10i for both sides, the defender will win
approximately 0.89 of the time, which strikes me as pretty historical.

We've had few sieges like this so far because either the defenders have
had poor morale (North Africa) or been too few to last three rounds.
