Hmm, I originally thought the same thing Kyle, but now re-reading 7.5.2.3.2
there is an exception that the flanking force _is_ "included for
determination of base morale levels".

Since the Allies lost 4.0 morale it won't affect the outcome of this battle,
but it's good to know for the future.

    No, the rules are specific that the morale value of the pinning force is
the morale value used for the entire battle (regardless of whether the
flanking force arrives).  Same goes for reinforcements.
