RE: [eia] June map |
I have a separate folder for Cyberboard, and the EIA (and other games) are sub-folders under the Cyberboard. I have 3.1 working just fine. I've downloaded the file (which is called version 3.01) and placed it in my eia folder. When I try to open a new map it says the map was created by a newer version and I must download the newer version to open the map. Thinking I didn't download the file properly I tried to re-do it. Then I get a message that states "that file already exists". Like I said, I'm sure it's something I'm doing wrong, but I don't know what. -----Original Message----- From: eia-bounces@xxxxxxxxx [mailto:eia-bounces@xxxxxxxxx]On Behalf Of Kyle H Sent: Saturday, April 01, 2006 7:42 AM To: public list for an Empires in Arms game Subject: Re: [eia] June map I've tried 3 times now to download the new Cyberboard version. Each time I try to unzip the files into a folder I get the following error message: "Zip damaged: C:\...\CBDesign.exe: Bad CRC [string of numbers and letters] should be [string of numbers and letters]. Possible cause: file transfer error." I've tried downloading the zipped file multiple times and I've tried unzipping into different folders. I always get the same message. Anyone have any ideas? kdh ----- Original Message ----- From: "Joel Uckelman" <uckelman@xxxxxxxxx> To: "public list for an Empires in Arms game" <eia@xxxxxxxxx> Sent: Friday, March 31, 2006 4:59 PM Subject: Re: [eia] June map > Thus spake "Kyle H": > > I am unable to open the most recent map.
