These fleets started with 58 ships.  I subtracted two casualties before
attacking the Danish fleet with 56 ships, inflicting 6 casualties.  Then a
final ship is lost to the Danish cannons, bringing the British armada to 55
ships.

Actually, the 2 British losses from the harbor guns happen first, then the
surviving 54 British ships inflict 5 losses on the Danes, then the surviving
Danes inflict one more British loss.  The political outcome remains the
same.
