One way would be to put a cap on the bidding process.  I think a cap of "20"
("25" max) would be high enough, with ties resolved by unmodified die rolls
per 14.2.1.2.

It's beginning to sound like there is a consensus for starting over, isn't
it?  I would be interested in hearing from Mike and Sterling, too.

    I agree.  And that's why I ended up with Turkey.  :-)  The trouble is:
how do you stop someone from paying too much for something they really want?
I don't see how you can prevent people from bidding foolishly if they want
to.
