Re: [eia] French land phase-Aug. 1806 |
I show the first corps arriving at Soissons foraging at 5-, not 4-. (Base value 4, +1 for movement point remaining, +1 for in home territory, -1 for enemy corps) However, I show the first corps arriving S of Soissons foraging at 4-. (Base value 3, +1 for movement point remaining, +1 for home territory, -1 for enemy corps). The result would be the same even if you chose not to move through a "3" forage area because then you'd have to cross a river into combat, and you'd give up your extra movement point. So, unless France is willing to pay more for depot supply, here are the corrected forage values: Napoleon,Bernadotte & 4 Inf.--> S/o Soissons (F 4-,3-,3-,3-) Murat & 3 Inf. -->Soissons (F5-,$1,$1) kdh P.S. I just noticed that JJ sent out the same message. Oh well. In that case, I agree. ----- Original Message ----- From: "James Helle" <jhelle@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: "public list for an Empires in Arms game" <eia@xxxxxxxxx> Sent: Wednesday, January 05, 2005 9:14 PM Subject: [eia] French land phase-Aug. 1806 Depot built at Metz ($1) Napoleon,Bernadotte & 4 Inf.--> S/o Soissons (F 5-,4-,4-) Murat & 3 Inf. -->Soissons (F4-,$1,$1) 1 Inf. at Turin assaults the city (F5-) Total cost is $3 JJ, do the corps at Soissons retire to the city?
