[eia] 1st Damietta recap. |
Well, that's definitely the kind of day I've been having... The Egyptians do no damage of any kind in the 2nd round while the Russians inflict one casualty (must be cavalry) and 2.6 morale which breaks the Egyptians. So at the end of the battle, the total morale loss done to the Russians is 0.7 (not 2.6 - this is why JJ was asking if he had missed my roll). That puts the Russians on pursuit table 5. A roll of 5 on that table results in an additional pursuit loss. It will be taken as infantry. So the results of the battle are as follows: Russia loses 1 factor (presumably militia). The Egyptians lose 1 cav and 3 inf. Russia gains 1 PP, Turkey loses 1 PP. The Turkish force is retreated to the space east of Damietta. The Russians breach the walls of Damietta and the garrison surrenders. So now Russia is in possession of the town. I believe Turkey is up now, correct? kdh _______________________________________________ eia mailing list eia@xxxxxxxxx http://lists.ellipsis.cx/mailman/listinfo/eia
