I don't object to Sterling being able to decide on whether to surrender to 
Turkey. I understand that the motivation here is to permit him to run Spain 
the way he wants to. It seems like a reasonable courtesy to extend to a new 
player. Should Sterling change his mind, of course any events which 
depended on the Peace would have to be redone. But I don't see why that 
gives us license to revise any actions which didn't depend on the terms of 
the Peace---in particular, actions which occurred *prior* to the Peace.
