Re: [eia] Dice server automated response |
Jim, we need to know what corps are present at the battle, what their composition is, and what their total morale is. Also, did you decide whether you wanted to force march the Polish corps to Warsaw, or pay an extra $1 and have them stop W. of Warsaw? Although Jim did not specify in his land orders, I assume that the Polish Cavalry corps took the northern route to Vilna and thus did not cross a river before entering combat. (This means that Russia will not be on the enhanced combat tables for Cordon.) It is impossible for Prussia to have cavalry superiority, but it is possible that Russia has it. We'll have to wait and see how many cavalry factors are contained in the Prussian force before we know for sure. Because Kutusov is commanding 7 corps, his effective tactical rating is "3". Because Hohenloe is commanding 4 corps, his tactical rating remains "2". This means that Prussia will be rolling at -1, and Russia will be rolling unmodified (unless Russia has cavalry superiority, in which case Russia will be rolling at +1). But in the mean time, Prussia rolls a modified "0" on table 2-1. This results in no casualties and no morale damage. Now we need to see Mike's roll as well as his decision whether to commit the guard. (And if Prussia's guard corps is present, we will also need a decision from Jim whether Prussia wishes to commit the guard.) kdh ----- Original Message ----- From: "Dice server" <dice-admin@xxxxxxx> To: "James Helle" <jhelle@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Cc: <eia@xxxxxxxxx> Sent: Tuesday, August 19, 2003 5:53 PM Subject: [eia] Dice server automated response > -----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- > > > Dice rolls requested by: "James Helle" <jhelle@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> > Rolls also sent to: > eia@xxxxxxxxx > > No. of sides on every die: 6 > No. of dice for every roll: 1 > No. of dice rolls requested: 1 > No. of rolls per line: 1 > > 1 > > Information on the dice server: > DO NOT REPLY TO THIS MESSAGE! > Replies to dice-admin@xxxxxxx vanish into a seldom-read mailbox. > > For instructions on using the dice server, send a message with > subject "help" to dice@xxxxxxx, or see http://www.pbm.com/dice/ > > The dice server is provided by: > > Shadow Island Games > http://www.pbm.com/ > > > Original message follows: > > Return-Path: <jhelle@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> > > Delivered-To: dice@xxxxxxx > > Received: (qmail 19646 invoked from network); 19 Aug 2003 21:53:25 -0000 > > Received: from newlex.netpluscom.com (207.140.80.3) > > by h42-rt.sv.meer.net with SMTP; 19 Aug 2003 21:53:25 -0000 > > Received: from hppav (s30.as2.nwk.netpluscom.com [12.2.246.33]) > > by newlex.netpluscom.com (8.12.8/8.12.2) with SMTP id h7JLqPWU002472 > > for <dice@xxxxxxx>; Tue, 19 Aug 2003 17:52:25 -0400 > > From: "James Helle" <jhelle@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> > > To: "dice server" <dice@xxxxxxx> > > Subject: Battle of Vilna- round 1 > > Date: Tue, 19 Aug 2003 17:52:18 -0700 > > Message-ID: <BLEPJGNAGABBIHIPOJLJAEGLCBAA.jhelle@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> > > MIME-Version: 1.0 > > Content-Type: text/plain; > > charset="iso-8859-1" > > Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit > > X-Priority: 3 (Normal) > > X-MSMail-Priority: Normal > > X-Mailer: Microsoft Outlook IMO, Build 9.0.2416 (9.0.2911.0) > > Importance: Normal > > X-MimeOLE: Produced By Microsoft MimeOLE V6.00.2600.0000 > > > > #P eia@xxxxxxxxx > > > #S 6 > > > #D 1 > > > #R 1 > > > #L 1 > > > #C Rolling on 2-1 > > > #C Prussian forces are 35 I,10 C, + 2 Polish cav > > > #C morale is 3.3 > > > #C this roll is for the first round > > > #C roll is at -1 for leadership (Russian leader over tactical limit) > > > #T Battle of Vilna- round 1 > > -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- > Version: 2.6.3ia > Charset: noconv > > iQCVAwUBP0KcYz8NitsTFjcVAQFViQP/VmjjploX5eDS29w4211Bj1QeSYNvIDZS > WpJeeX4HRYRPP3ifa+6DvN7wHJpnHJZoYKi8YKODjREeyYkeH++LF2tBXFuH59XZ > 5SNs4IZn9+Vmxn8Dkqsv9fbXyIT/qsNY22TN70M3SDpO4bfcuClf6v6mdpu3wVKM > R+0afyHeHgU= > =NqxH > -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- > _______________________________________________ > eia mailing list > eia@xxxxxxxxx > http://lists.ellipsis.cx/mailman/listinfo/eia > _______________________________________________ eia mailing list eia@xxxxxxxxx http://lists.ellipsis.cx/mailman/listinfo/eia
