RE: [eia] Algiers siege |
Mike, You are right. But I thought Spain rolled on the 5-2 table. Since I rolled a six in the second round wouldn't the results be 7 x 20% = 1.4 (I thought we rounded up in this case). -DEM -----Original Message----- From: eia-admin@xxxxxxxxx [mailto:eia-admin@xxxxxxxxx]On Behalf Of Michael Gorman Sent: Tuesday, May 06, 2003 5:38 PM To: eia@xxxxxxxxx Subject: Re: [eia] Algiers siege At 05:28 PM 5/6/2003 -0400, you wrote: >So Algeria loses 3 factors and Spain loses 2 factors. First off, it should be two factors a piece as the Spanish army would only have 7 factors after the first round and thus cause only 1 casualty on the 6 for the second round. Victory in a siege gains Spain a point, but defeat in a siege doesn't cost any points and there is no retreat after a siege. The siege is simply resumed as the Algerians failed to take the city.
