Fw: [eia] evasion attempt off Naples |
Here is the full text of the email which Mike partially quoted in his response. Note especially the second-to-last paragraph; I don't like the rule, but let's just play on. I'm not offended by anything that's been written, and I hope I haven't offended others by my sounding off on the subject. We'll see what we can cook up against your wicked Franco-Russian schemes. I hope you'll be patient with us, since we are responding to a new situation without the benefit of prior planning, and we need to consult, which can be slow. I'll send out all my non-Mediterranean naval orders momentarily. -JJY ----- Original Message ----- From: <jjy@xxxxxxxxxxx> To: <eia@xxxxxxxxx> Sent: Wednesday, December 11, 2002 3:57 PM Subject: Re: [eia] evasion attempt off Naples > While I see what you guys are saying as far as the letter of the rules says, I > find it _extremely_ silly that there is no limit to the number of interceptions > a defending stack can attempt before combat begins.
