Hi guys. JJ, Mike, and I
have a college buddy named Tom who was originally trying to help set
us up with a program to play EIA online. In the end, we found Cyberboard,
pbm.com, and OpenRPG on our own, and basically fended for ourselves.
But apparently in the process of trying to help us get set up, Tom has developed
an interest in learning more about EIA! Although we are currently full on
players, it's always useful to have someone else around who knows and
appreciates the game (and who could be a prospective player next
time). To that end, I was hoping you might all agree to including his name
in our EIA mailing list, so that he can learn how the game is played by watching
us play it.
You'll see in the message below
that he has asked to be included. So if there are no objections, then,
Joel, could you please add the following email address to the EIA mailing
list?
Thanks,
kdh

Like I said in one of the
emails I sent tonight, I'm really sorry for the extra effort you have put in
by way of helping us with EIA when we have already been up and running
for a while now. I don't know exactly what happened. I guess we
thought you had abandoned the project and so we began fending for
ourselves. I didn't realize that we hadn't told you that we
had already solved all our problems. I sincerely apologize for
that. After all the help you have provided us, the least we could have
done is tell you that we were up and running! I feel awful about it, and
I hope you'll accept our collective apologies.
If you are still interested in
finding out more about Cyberboard, you can find links to the downloads on our
game's makeshift website which is:
(If you want the official website for Cyberboard,
I'm sure you could find it on Google.) Once again, sorry that you were
never updated about our situation. I assure you that it was merely an
oversight, and in no way intentional.
Let me know if you'd like to
become a part of our game's mailing list. I'd definitely like to get you
involved in the game eventually. Seeing stuff happen first
hand will get you acquainted with the rules and hopefully whet your appetite
for future campaigns! :-)

Hi, Tom. I want to
thank you personally for all the help you've given us trying to facilitate
our games of EIA over the internet when you've never even played the game
yourself! That's really kind of you. Just so you know, though,
we pretty much have everything we need at this point. We've been
using Cyberboard for the mapping functions and we've already been using
OpenRPG for die-rolling needs.
Thanks again for all your help!
