Re: [eia] British land phase, 3/05

    My decision to retire into the city at Amsterdam depends on whether Hohenloe is at Amsterdam.  Once I know that, I can give you more information.  In the mean time, though, Prussia can feel free to roll for a breach at Kassel.

    After having run the numbers, I have changed my mind.  Unfortunately, it looks like going into the city is the best thing for Ney to do at this juncture.

    France will definitely fight at Amsterdam.  Let's wait to see on Genoa.

British Land Phase

Depot Removal:  Copenhagen, Elvas, Palermo
Depot Creation:  Damietta, invasion supply from Denmark fleet off Amsterdam/Hamburg ($2)

1 I corps:  lands at Amsterdam ($1)
1 I corps and Cav. corps:  land at Genoa ($2 Spanish)
Portugal corps:  move 1 space east (forage at 5-)
1 Egypt corps:  beseiged at Cairo (forage at 1-)
1 Egypt corps:  Desert ---> Jerusalem ($3)

Total cost:  $6 British, $2 Spanish

Turkey will have to decide whether the Syria corps will fight or retreat into the city.
France will have to decide whether Ney's corps in Amsterdam will fight or retreat into the city.
France will have to decide (possibly after seeing Spain's land orders) whether the corps in Genoa will fight or retreat into the city.

Forage rolls are on their way ...
