[eia] results of the Battle of Mantua, Feb 1805 |
In the second round, France lost an additional 2 factors and an additional 2.1 morale for a total of 5 factors and 3.2 morale. Austria lost an additional 5 factors and an additional 1.9 morale for a total loss of 13 factors and 4.7 morale. Austria breaks, so one of its 13 lost factors must be cavalry. There were no losses in pursuit. The Austrian army is retreated to Venice. (Is there anyone left in the corps that was garrisoning Mantua?) Because the losing side had 5 corps participating in the battle, Austria loses 3 political points (dropping it into the lowest "5" box in the Instability Zone) and France gains 4 political points because Napoleon was present (placing it in the lowest "10" box). February is now officially over. Let the March political phase begin in earnest! kdh ----- Original Message ----- From: "Kyle H" <menexenus@xxxxxxx> To: <eia@xxxxxxxxx> Sent: Tuesday, July 16, 2002 11:46 PM Subject: [eia] Re: Battle of Mantua, Feb 1805, 1st round > So, in the first round, Austria lost 8 factors and 2.8 morale and France > lost 3 factors and 1.1 morale.
