[eia] maintaining the map |
I was thinking today that when I update the map every turn and send it out to everyone, I could conceivably try to keep it updated in terms of the locations of corps. So, for example, say the Russians and the Turks have a battle at Galatz. The identities of the corps participating in that battle will become public knowledge. If people want, I could then move the appropriate corps counters to that location. That would help everyone keep track of what is public knowledge. Of course, such a system wouldn't be perfect, because as soon as the corps in a stack are split up, I won't know which is which. So then it will just be guesswork as to which one went where. Still, though, this method should help us keep track of the approximate locations of corps on the map (after they have participated in a battle). Is there any objection to keeping the map updated in this way? kdh
