[ALACPP] (no subject)

This list has been pretty quiet lately...

I just wanted to toss out a message about jobs here at the Yahoo offices in Pasadena (i.e. former Overture). We are actively hiring C/C++ programmers at the moment, and I'm looking for a couple people to join my team. Here's a link to the official job description:

http://www02.rmx.scd.yahoo.com/pljb/yahoo/yahoo_jobs/applicant/ jobClick.jsp?count=1&id=4171

In my words, this is a very fast-moving team pushing server performance, scaling, and cost to the limits. You'd be working on one of the hottest new things coming out of Yahoo at the moment (http://publisher.yahoo.com/) which means that you'll have the eyes of the top management looking at you, but also have their ears if you can argue persuasively for anything you need to push the project forward.

For this specific position we are looking for someone with familiarity with blogs and RSS, in addition to strong server development experience.

If you'd like more info, or you're interested in applying, let me know.

-kevin
