Re: [ALACPP] questions

While I was out of work, a lunch meeting worked OK, although I did spend a lot of time hustling for a new job, and missed several meetings..

Now that I am teaching at a private school in Anaheim, a lunch in Pasadena is out of the question.

I would be willing to consider an occasional evening meeting.

As Kevin alluded to, there are some questions for the list at-large:

1. We'll be wrapping up _Exceptional C++_ fairly soon. What would you like to read next? In what area would you like to expand your knowledge?

2. Weekly attendance has stabilized around a small group of folks who can meet in Pasadena during the week for lunch. A lunch meeting tends to be easier to make on a weekly basis than an evening meeting; nevertheless, there are a lot of people subscribed to this list who don't come to the weekly meetings. So, let me ask, why? In what other ways could the group meet your needs?

3. Is anyone willing to make a presentation to the group about a relevant topic, sufficiently technical in nature, or able to recommend someone else who is?
