[ALACPP] Thread safe queue?

Hey, an interesting problem came up at work today: we need a thread safe
queue class. After a small bit of thought I realized it would be
non-trivial (and very inefficient) to wrap std::dqueue with some kind of
a thread-safe wrapper.

Does anyone have pointers to such a beast? You'd think it'd be around
there somewhere.
