(Especially when you've completely forgotten about the mnemonic logical operators. I thought to myself: "Hah, 'and!', that won't compile in a million years! This ain't Pascal!" <sigh>) I can't find much info about EDBIC from Google (odd, that). Does anyone know whether it doesn't support the digraph'd characters? Were there other character sets which didn't? I suppose there was no end to the array of odd machines and odd encodings back in the 70s and 80s.
