For registrarial purposes, I'm going to consider that these transactions
failed until someone convinces me otherwise. I don't think anything in the
rules specifies what happens to socks when the sockholder disappears. And
since it can't be determined with finality whether the assertions concerning
those sock corps are true, in my opinion, the transactions fail as a
consequence.
