It does fail.

Either because Codae is already the MoM.

OR

Because I was already the MoM. (which I was if my usurp happened at
23:57 last night, though I don't think that it actually did) But if
this is the case, then I hadn't vacated the MoM ever this nweek and
thus had a retainer of 50, meaning Codae's own usurp failed, as well
as mine. I vacated the MoM a few hours ago, however.

So just to be on the safe side, Codae should usurp again and then
there will be no question he is the MoM.
