Further Argument:

The Field is a torus, and squares along the edges are adjacent to
squares along the corresponding edges."

When the Field is not in use, there is no reason or obligation on the
part of the Ministry of Play to maintain a public display of the Field.
Also, any Field Match may override the default topology of the Field.
