That might be a better Idea (reactors?) than solar. I'm concerned about things being too easy. In my Experience, limitations make games like this more fun. Necessity _is_ the mother of invention, after all.

Well, that's why the solar panels only produce enough energy to move once per nweek. Perhaps later we can incorporate Weather again, and have 'cloudy days', where everyone has to either do nothing or hope they've got a reactor.

I just think the robots have a little too much independence atm. What I would prefer is to give us a reason for each robot to get customised to do a job as we design the upgrades. I'm sure little working parties based around certain on-grid scams will get going too.

How exactly were you expecting Robots to gather RUs? It doesn't make sense to me that they'd just find them lying around; something should have to happen instead. That's why I liked the idea of having them digging through the Junk - at the very least, they can melt down the Junk they find for RUs.

I was more or less thinking that everything on the grid is a mishmash of everything - if you want to bring in specific treasure types eventually, that is fine, but i was just starting with a basic 'unrefined RU gathering' process - a bit like drift mining.

Mmmm, I also wanted to restrict the game to checkpoints, but more rigidly than you do. Whatever, prop it, when it goes wrong i'll blame you.

Sounds like a plan.

I'm going to write up a modified version of your prop Wonko, so you can see the way I would do it.
