Oh, is that all? Just minor details. Can you see Michigan and Ohio State
saying "Well, the field's on fire, and the football's fallen into this
vast strip mine, but hey, let's play anyway!"

I really liked football too; I'd hate to see it go away. These things add
color to our game and I'd vote against anything that strip-mined it down
to the bare essentials.
