Well, *can*, but it doesn't happen unless he *does*. PurpleBob could probably declare another showdown right away, but what for? It doesn't make sense to continue winning the game over and over again.
 

BTW, do the current rules *have* an initial value that the scores could be reset to? The "All Scores are initially 0 Points" part of rule 121 is removed since revision 2, according to the historical ruleset.
