This means we won't have any Gnomes (except Sheep Gnomes). A new Gnome should be created when one is defined but that didn't happen (if it did then they were all destroyed immediately anyway). I submit the following proposal:

For each Gnome type, except sheep, place one Gnome of that type on a random grid location.}}
