[s-b] [auto] Wonko submits p273

Wonko has submitted a new Motion, p273.

---------------------------------
Motion 273/0: Settling it like Civilized Gentlemen
A Proposal by Wonko
Last modified on nweek 99, nday 6

[[
A revamp of combat. I realized that it's really stupid that I can attack somebody and then basically leave the game, and the two of us would keep fighting until somebody died. So now there's a specific list of things you can do to attack somebody, and if neither of you do them for a whole period, Combat ceases. Also, I added the ability to Stun somebody, thus keeping them from hitting you and letting you escape.
]]

Amend r10-5 to read as follows:
{{
== Combat ==

[[
Summary:
Players can be In Combat. This starts when one player Tackles another, and ends when both players Stand Down, when neither player has attacked the other for an entire Period, or when one of the players is forcibly removed from combat (via teleportation, being Tackled by a different player, Dying, etc.)

A set of Combat Actions - Punch, Kick, etc. - are defined; in general, these can only be done while In Combat.
]]

A. Combat
At any given time, each player may be In Combat with up to one other player.

Certain actions may be designated as Combat Actions. Unless otherwise specified, a player may not take Combat Actions unless e is In Combat, and a player who is in Combat may not use Talismans, perform any actions permitted solely by Room Ordinances, or take an action that requires Action Points, except when such actions are Combat Actions.

B. Starting and Ending Combat

A player may spend one AP to Tackle another Player. This causes those two players to become In Combat with each other. This also causes both players to cease to be In Combat with any other players, and to cease performing any actions with duration that e cannot do during Combat (for example, if e was busy holding the Sconce down in the Conservatory).

At the end of each Checking Period, if two players were In Combat with each other for the entire Checking Period and neither took a Combat Action, then those two players cease to be In Combat with each other.

Also, if two players are In Combat with each other and either player becomes Asleep, Dies, is moved to a different room, or otherwise is rendered unable to Attack the other, then both players cease to be In Combat with Each other immediately.

C. Stunning and Dazing

Players may be Stunned and/or Dazed. A Player who is Stunned may not perform combat actions or Tackle other players. A player who is Dazed may not Tackle other players.

At the end of each Checking Period, all Dazed players cease to be Dazed and all Stunned players become Dazed, except where the rules specify otherwise.
Additionally, if two players were In Combat but one of them was Stunned and the other has taken no Combat actions since the first became Stunned, then both players cease to be In Combat.

D. Combat Actions

Standing Down is a Combat Action, costing 0 AP. If two players who are In Combat with each other both Stand Down during the same Checking Period, then they cease to be In Combat.

Punching the other player is a Combat Action, costing 2 AP. The Punched player loses 2 HP. 1dx is rolled, where x is the Punching player's Strength; if the result is greater than seven, or is equal to x, then the Punched Player is Stunned.

Kicking the other player is a Combat Action, costing 3 AP. 2dx is rolled, where x is the Kicking player's Strength. The result is divided by two, rounded down, and reduced by 4. If the result is positive, the Kicked player loses that many HP.
